PJP is built around a dynamic rhythm section of piano, bass and drums to which we add instrumentation as needed. Available instruments include saxophone, trumpet, trombone, vocals(male and female), guitar, flute and vibraphone. The resulting sound ranges from intimate to exciting. For smaller venues and budgets we also offer various duo and drumless trio formats. Our repertoire spans the entire history of jazz, from Duke Ellington and Count Basie to Miles Davis, Bill Evans and Dave Brubeck, to Chick Corea, McCoy Tyner and Freddie Hubbard, to Pat Metheny, and even pop tunes by Sting, Van Morrison, and Bill Withers.
